Kotake (Grandmother)

Maruko's grandmother.

Very calm and a slow-tempo person. She nods in such atmosphere usually but makes shrewd observations sometimes. She knows a lot about traditional culture and often helps Maruko with her knowledge.

Her favorite food is sugared beans, azuki-bean jelly and rice boiled with red beans.
